NAMI St. Louis is an organization of families, friends and individuals whose lives have been affected by mental illness. Together, we advocate for better lives for those individuals who have a mental illness, and we offer support, education and advocacy as we do so.

Family-to-Family

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. NAMI Family-to-Family not only provides information and strategies for taking care of the person you love, but you’ll also find out that you’re not alone. Recovery is a journey, and there is hope.

Join the NAMI St. Louis Board!

Give back to your community by becoming a NAMI-St. Louis (National Alliance for Mental Illness) Board of Director. The ideal candidate will have experience living with a mental health condition or is a family member of someone living with a mental health condition. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in marketing, public relations, social media, law, mental health, school administration and non-profit management.

NAMI's support groups follow a structured model to ensure you and others in the group have an opportunity to be heard and to be helped. All NAMI St. Louis support groups are free and confidential. Across the country, thousands of trained NAMI volunteers bring peer-led programs to a wide variety of community settings, from churches to schools to NAMI Affiliates. With the unique understanding of people with lived experience, these programs and support groups provide outstanding free education, skills training and support.
